Engr. Dr. M. Umar Khan
Welcome to the site!
As an early-career researcher, Umar's international experiences culminate in his role as an Assistant Professor at COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan, where he writes grant proposals and teaches AI and computing to undergraduates. He is a Telecommunication Engineer with a Master's and a Ph.D. in Telematics Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). His diverse research interests encompass bioinformatics, hazard detection, and optimizing next-generation and IoT networks using AI/ML grounded in real data. He is passionate about leveraging technology and data-driven insights for innovation. He is working on several community and industrial projects and offering trainings to make Pakistan a better place by using technology. He is passionate about R&D.
